Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Ok laying off, but those who stay know what they work for?

Did we really give up the cell market? Did i hear it right?

Isnt that just another step for loosing other markets like core m to ARM?

IoT does not have the revenue growth needed to sustain Intel as we know it. BK never did the math.

Yep.... buying Mediatek would very good move. As a shareholer, I could be excited again for the future growth of Intel.

Core M performance is at the same level of High-end ARM SoC. Only Microsoft and Apple will decide when the switch to ARM in Laptop/tablet will occur.

We will not exit cellular market, I assured you. Given the savings from ACT, the extra cash could be used to acquire Mediatek, Rockchip or Spreadtrum. We will be great again
