I think it is a human rights violation issue. No where else in the world can you get away with laying off people on one hand and at the same time have madsive recruitment drives from which you get referral fees ( actually kick back) for employing non Americans

Krzanich does not have any business sense. Remember that he grew up and was educated behind flasks and test tubes. He is merely playing out his role as the great experiment or even if thousands of good employees careers are on the line. Shame on the Board for ever allowing this d**khead to drive the company into the ground.

I had many ideas over the years. Some people simply just did the work. I was lucky to have managers that valued my ideas, even if shot down in another forum. I truly believe that is what keep me on the payroll throughout my career...constantly innovating, even if not all innovations were sanctioned. Innovators are always more rewarded than the ordinary doers.

This does not make any sense. I think Intel is literally starving for good ideas. I've always been of the mindset that if you have 10 ideas, maybe 1 will stick. Don't just "keep to yourself" because of rejections. That's just rolling over, giving up, and taking your ball home.

Persistence my friend....not all people can be Steve Jobs. But most can understand the competition for ideas and the odds at which they bubble up and break through to a funded effort.

I have some ideas, but would like to develop them myself. I will not submit my ideas to the innovation tool, just to have a group of short sighted managers tell me "They are not part of our core business strategy and will not make the funding cut."
