Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel HR need to share ISP/VSP data by group

To put the question being asked directly and indirectly in this board on whether layoffs were fair or not, Intel HR need to share the following (they have this info readily available, they ask each employee for it):

  • Were 11% of Asian (Indian and non-Indian) laid off?

  • Were 11% of Women laid off?

  • Were 11% of White males laid off?

  • Were 11% of minorities (non-Indian) laid off?

I will bet everything that 11% was not the case across the board!

There is no way they held a discriminatory layoff outside of legal criteria. That is not to say that no employees were setup to fail prior to said layoff, but that is those employee's fault for 1. Not fighting anything that was undeserved or 2. Ending something else beforehand. Corporations have layoffs, it is an American reality, you people have been bamboozled by corporations and politicians propaganda again worker rights and unions.

From what I've seen, this layoff does not consider demographics. You can bet HR is aware of this and will not be giving any group any special treatment. OWMs are whining the most because they are among the most self-entitled people out there, and are higher # layoff due to high % at Intel.
