former manager here also:

Totally agree with @HaNSKsU-Leif. I quit being a manager 10 years after getting fed up the asinine practices. Went IC, and never regretted it.. I will be taking the ERP...

Any news on the new packaging factory in chandler. I know folks working there who are worried.

Former Manager here:

Fact is, many managers are coerced to execute to the orders given them in mass layoffs. Some are so disgusted, they leave. I did. Some opt to forego continuing as a manager and move to an IC role. I've know several that have done this. But to say "ALL" managers are evil is pure nonsense.

Obviously, all managers not challenging this immoral system are bozos. Just by default, if they themselves don't resign on principle, then they are in favor of this inhumane treatment of their fellow brothers and sisters. I feel sad for the good, honest, hardworking people left behind to be fed upon and tossed out by these bloodthirsty, evil managers. I was a fool to think these lunatics were actually my friends. Never again.

And who might those "Bozos" be? One who got kicked out or the ones who are still slaving away?
