What was the point? Efficiency cuts are yet to come, so why did he not wait till all cuts were done?

His timing would've been perfect had he waited until after the clown, who wasted everybody's time, rambling on and on about a non-question, is fired.
He probably did it because people were questioning where he was. He disappeared for 2 months and made his minions go out and face the employees after he dropped the ACT bomb in April. I think the negativity was getting to be too much and he had to get up there to save face.
He wanted to announce that Intel will have restrooms for the trannies.
The Open Forum was odd. Didn't really give anyone peace of mind or provide any resolution to the anxiety that's paralyzing the company.
The "efficiency" cuts wont end until next year. He probably thought it would be helpful to motivate people.
He should have done it after 6/24... one less person in the audience to ask stupid questions.
