I have a job offer but didn't get any VSP email. So, I wanted to check if I can still somehow convince manager/HR to put me on the list. All inputs are welcome.

But, if you'd bothered to read the previous posts, you'd see that -1gdw used the epithet "dodo dot heard." And then made a reference to the open forum performance of a now-notorious ERP recipient, who is, in fact, an Indian gentleman. A preponderance of evidence for my case. Thus, we have ourselves a racial slur! Though, admittedly, a badly-typed one.

Just to get the insults straightened out here, I called the OP "opportunistic." Which I still think is fair, so I'm not taking it back.

Obviously, if the OP already HAS a job offer, he/she isn't going to have the TIME to get himself/herself fired based on his/her own bad behavior. And if he/she didn't get dinged by the algorithm, HR will likely be suspicious if he/she suddenly gets recommended for a package.
Really, OP, why not just be grateful for all you DO have in life, rather than trying to scam Intel for some extra scratch on the way out? They're going to need that money for all the people they DO fire, who DON'T have nice jobs all lined up for themselves. You're one of the fortunate ones. Try to be a good sport about that.

Suck at your work for 15 days..do not attend meetings, don't come to work, don't complete your work, your manager should then put you under CAP, you reject the cap and take the ISP . I am in HR, and if I know your wwid I can fire you right away but you need to give me your info. Message me your info to hr@intel.com. I'll make sure you get a pkg. If I don't receive a message from you. I will ask our IT team to track your IP and who you are and fire you by end of next week.
Should have requested as part of Phase 2, which closed yesterday as far as adding new names...
Just do opposite of what your manager asks you to do. Guarantee you'll have a package this time next year.

Actually, I did check with HR that time but she was like , only if you got the email you can get it. I didn't really want to inform my manager at that point of time as I didn't have the offer. Now, I have the offer and ready to leave asap. Hoping if I could be put on the efficiency cut.
you should have ASKED for VSP during the period when they were handing them out. I heard someone who did that successfully
