Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

So..it looks like this entire VSP/ERP WAS a bluff from HR?

BK said no more company wide ISP's. So everyone is now safe that was offered VSP. Wow..way to go Intel...good one..the laugh is on the people that fell for it.

I remember last year when he said all the cuts were done.

Wait till 10nm slips and we get double digit contraction in PC, and low single digit growth in servers and IoT and foundry and modem continue to figments of the SJ state wet dream, more cuts, more cuts for sure!

The POR is the POR, right up to the moment the new POR is set. The old one is then the Prior-POR.

So if the future is new an innovative products why spend that creative effort at Intel when you can do it somewhere else and get bought by another company and retire with millions?

Don't worry OP your job is safe, IOT will fuel growth, LMFAO! No one is buying anything that Intel sells except server chips and that is under attack. The joke is on you leftovers who will leave with no packages, just several weeks of pay.

You did hear that efficiency continues right? What did you think he meant by that?

OP - Take note of the "company-wide" qualifier. Group-specific ISPs are still on-going till July. It is possible with the new focal system that future ISPs will be handled directly by the BUs, going mostly unnoticed without a company wide communication. Nobody should feel completely safe, and there will be constant fear going fwd until/if business conditions improve.

The joke is on you if believe anything that BK says. PC demand is dropping, cancellations and delays on X86 products. You are a fool thinking this is it and now you should feel safe.
