Paris got delayed from June 15th to June 22nd and correspondingly the US dates were shifted to 29th from what I heard. So I guess, brace yourselves, the layoff's are coming?
Surprise surprise, no lay off. June 29 f--- yards. The rumors on here sucks donkey balls. Engineers getting gossip from HR? When was the last time any engineer could talk to a woman? No Joan doesn't count.
Quarterly managers meeting in MN today. No updates about retrenching? Will layoffs happen while everyone is taking an extended 4th of July weekend? (because that would be stupid)

Manager meetings happen the week prior to layoffs. If managers meetings are tomorrow, then most likely it will be mid-next week.
There is a manager meeting tomorrow. Guessing they're announcing it then.
Whatever may be the date - the old men/women's club would stay intact - it is a cult kind of culture .... Only the newbies would be RIFed ....

I have also heard that it might be tomorrow. If it is, I only hope and pray that I am on the list. Would be one of the happier days of my life! And if it is not me, then I pray that my manager is on that list....Worst.Manager.Ever!!!!!
