LOL.

Intel was too worried about AMD that they completely missed Apple and Google (and Qualcomm and ARM and Samsung and Huawei and TSMC so on).

The ARM complex utterly dwarfs Intel and there is no stopping the freight train about to run over Intel.

How could they allow this to happen? Incompetent management.

Bravo!

CCG is an echo chamber and circle jerk of epic proportions.

They were totally blindsided by mobile computing. It will be fun to see them turn in to RIMM. A dinosaur.

And as growth can progress exponentially, so can decline; as Hemingway once put it: “How did you go bankrupt? Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly”. Users have already shifted to mobile and with software and hardware vendors following suit. Continuing to run Wintel applications is becoming a liability because the vast majority of them can run only on Wintel.

"1.432 billion smartphones were sold compared to 276 million PC’s."

There of course used to be one phone in a house but maybe a PC for every adult older child. Now every Adult and child will have a phone and sometimes two, one for work and one for personal. The family finds it needs maybe just a PC for the parents and one for each kid and a 299 PC is good enough and can be good enough till it breaks. The phone, well you know the numbers!

Now the phone is a interesting thing. The processor in it is made in Taiwan and ALL of them are designed by companies NOT named Intel and run operations systems NOT made by MS. This is going to be the greatest case of innovator's dilemma. Intel and MS so arrogant and blinded as they printed money in their WINTEL world to have missed this. Of which there simply is NO recovery.

The chances of them catching the next wave given their past miss, zilch.

hasta la vista baby

Your organization better watch and prepare for an accelerating decline of the Wintel empire that will send shockwaves spreading. Another important reason to put priority on getting rid of your legacy running exclusively on Intel Inside.

I remember how these CCG (Computing Client Group) directors were arrogant and full of themselves. Nobody can compete with them, with INTEL, and they just by open force diminished any other player except their Ecosystem.

Arrogant/ignorant Morons/Monkeys.
