June 10, Woodlands, some department has over 50% people cut. The 2nd largest since 1998. My question is how long would it take to cut it again in the same department? Do we have a buffer of about 6 months?

Travel , travel , travel . It is reserved for the Directors and above . Totally obsence to travel from US to Asia . Damage easily 20k per trip ! Where is your consience ? People are getting laid off and you are still abusing travel benefits to earn mileage for your family's free travel .
A lot if NRM people are traveling to Asia recently. I can't imagine when everyone are cutting cost down but NRM people still traveling as usual. Some more they are travel business class.

In fact, the way that the ppl that travelling over continents isn't really making sense in this so-called critical moment! Why are the ppl still keep travelling? Can't it be done thru conference call? I know sometimes face-to-face would be better, but let's face it, it is the CRITICAL MOMENT now. Is it necessary??
seagate is the only company I know that openly provide special privileges to VP and above . Openly publish VP hotels in travel policy . Discrimination is so open until employee brainwashed to think this is acceptable . If the company is in trouble , please lead by example and not splurge on corporate travels . There is something called telepresence or Webex .
You can expect cuts in July and Sept . Considering it is June now, there is 1 month buffer if that makes you feel better.
