Any news about the SOC team at Austin? Heard there were very few ISPs in the first round.

Austin should be canned.

All the talent already left for Apple and others.

B and C players are left.

Not that the other half sounds any more tasty.

Sad times indeed in Austin, the problem isn't the site, or the talent. It is the total lack of a coherent larger strategy by intel that leverages it's collective strength.

No question we are exposing our collective executive weakness!

Austin team SoC team will split into modem team and Glenview team...SoC prospects are very low. Modem has some chance if is 5g work. Site really an overall disappointment though.

There were between 80 and 90 people let go in the 1st ISP wave that happened in late April.

yeah very few ISPs.. Austin is protected for some reason .

even with SOC projects cancelled, not sure whats in store for them
