We have on-site massages at LCO (employees pay), but I am not clear how cancelled appointments = layoff announcement? If directors just got the list of those who will be impacted (was indicated in earlier post a few days ago), there is no way a layoff could be this soon. STX is fairly slow moving when it comes to these activities.
For the love of rumor gods, the date is June 29. You can thank me later with your last check.

I was impacted during the Sep layoff and it happened 3 weeks prior to quarter close. Therefore tomorrow June 8th seems very probable as it is 3 weeks away from close. I do not think they will do layoffs very close to the quarter/year end as it will cause unnecessary distractions. Anyways good luck to all my Seagate colleagues. It is a trying period but you will come out of it a stronger person.
Maybe the on-site massage folks are double booked, maybe someone is ill, kinda weak indicator don't you think?
