Oh yes, climate change! Are we responsible for climate change? Any geologist can show you the sedimentary rock layers showing the earth has been through many cycles of tropical, desert, and ice ages! Paleomagnetics studies tell us the magnetic poles swap about every 350 million years too! Send me money and I will find out who was responsible for those events. One thing for sure is that the climate will change with or without us. The problem with this realization is power and money cannot be gained if we can't be accused of creating climate change.

It's a question of whether electric vehicles are inherently more expensive or whether they are more expensive because they're newer, and for how long they will remain more expensive.

Natural will become more prolific worldwide in order to fuel all of the electric cars. Natural gas will supply all of the supplement energy whenever solar and wind are not readily available. Oil will not be used as power plant fuel unless it's on remote islands like Hawaii.

China and India will at least get you through to retirement. Agree on the smog but, unless the government subsidizes it, I don't think there is enough personal wealth in China for everyone to buy an electric car any time soon. Average monthly wage is $650 in China while only $300 in India and those extra cup holders don't come cheap.

It will take more energy to charge all the cats. I'll bet oil becomes more expensive as demand for it increases with more e cars
