Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

Inquiring

I do not understand how a company like Gill Services that was recently acquired over three years ago is still in business under NOV, while the rest of Rig Solutions Group and other NOV facilities are letting people get laid off. Sounds like "politics" of the dirty kind. Who runs Gill now? How much influence does that person have?

It's not what you know. It's who you know. asskissers keep jobs. Hard working individuals get laid off. The power of puckering up.

May she rotten in her new position and take down the rest of NOV as she has done Gill. Only looking out for her own blood family not the company family as she always claimed to do.

Yes. G W** in the previous owner. The land that the company sits on gets leased out. Another royalty on top of the purchase of the company. Talk about milking NOV shareholders out of profit.

So that new VP that took over Randy's job is the previous gill owner?

The former owner of Gill took Randy Scates' place, and is over Gill. Does that explain how it dodges the bullet every time?
