Talk about travel . The logistics ED come to Singapore 8 times a year . Each time spend $20k for 1.5 wks . Fly on Monday and reach On Tues . Come to sin office on Wed , work 2 days and enjoy weekend golf free from suppliers and then resume 1 wk the following week . Funny thing is that he has a director in Singapore , still need to fly here 8 times !

cut the bloody phone bill claim . Saw few times 4-figure claim by managers....
And, (historically) when they had money, it was like - go spend here, spend there. Now? Cut cost where possible, even if it means impacting families of long-term employees.
Also, there's double standard w.r.t. travel spend. Even till date I see some traveling to other locations "for business purposes", and our group has been given a strict no travel mandate.
