I took ERP because I'm scared where Intel is heading. Looks like a regular thing the company will do from now to the future. Employees told how little they are valued by the fact that they must choose ERP or VSP before the details of their projects are announced. Repeated attempts to frighten them into taking packages.
Focal will become more and more brutal. No more value in teamwork, it will be dog eat dog as everyone have to stomp on those around them as 10% are forced out each new year.
Yop management believe they must micromanage all organizations below them. Not let those under them make their own decisions. Forced focal quotas strongly enforced. No one told the true criteria used the next time for ISPs and VSPs. Not letting managers and groups make own decisions about where and how their people work. Run reports on who leaves early on Fridays or what apps they run during the day or how many times/what time they badge in.
I am out because I see the best and brightest at Intel rushing out. Some ISPs & VSPs because they had bad managers or happened to be on projects that didn't go well or will not be funded. Probably even higher number because they don't like the new direction. No one will be willing to take risk anymore because risk takers will be shown the door. We haven't real leaders with vision. Anyone left will be throttled by risk of innovation - only do what has proven effective before, don't try anything new. Others were already cut or choose to abandon the ship sinking.
Intel is losing its heart and soul and I want out while the going is good.
