WTF? With all that's going on, layoff's in STST, layoff's coming to the US, Penang shutting down and Suzhou closing. What is going on?

hard to turn a big sinking ship. they planned a huge expansion a couple years ago.
To clarify......penang shutting down is only speculation....haven't announce in penang...
Seagate sucks. Hope I get layed off.
It is not all doom-and-gloom. Everyone needs to pull their heads out. Seagate is a great company. Like with any large company, there are missteps. Most will weather these events and we will be better for it. If it all seems terrible here to you, you may be the problem. Do us all a favor and take the negativity with you...
Read the Penang post on this site. Suzhou has already let go 60 percent of its people. No annoucements have been made, but its happening.
You mentioned penang shutting down and shuzou closing. How reliable your source? When this will happen? How sure you are?
