If they are short on the headcounts, I hope they re-open the VSP window rather than handing out ISPs. Either ways, I'm taking it.

@rnj - so in a group of 50 does that mean you have 5 EE and 5 O?
It's a numbers game with O/EE. The focal budget and distribution is designed so that in a group of 10 you can really only have 1 EE and 1 O.
"As to what changed, it's been made clear to me that I need to get ee/o next year. To get to that I need to work my butt off and hope that I don't get shafted/blindsided at review time assuming I last that long if vsp goes to isp."
That's exactly the kind of fear-driven response that arbitrary layoffs are intended to elicit.
As if there is a correlation between busting one's butt and getting ee/o... Who's getting those is already determined by your manager (as is who is not).

If anyone doesn't believe my story so be it...
15+ years in the industry and now I want out to go somewhere a bit more stable.
My vsp window closed about 2 weeks ago (not in the USA).
I picture someone eating twinkle and guzzling mountain dew in their mom's basement making these bogus posts.
You really have to wonder about someone like that.
I think most of us are already tired of these bogus post; unless you can state your source stop, just stop.
What changed in the last 12 hours, Bob?
There's no point in posting eye catching headlines if you've got nothing to support them. We should deal in facts here unless you're here only to get people worked up.
I hope I get isp. I had the option of vsp and turned it down. Now I regret it.
