They just cut the training department at an AZ site

Hmmm, it was about 2-3 years ago the training dept was eliminated in NM. Since then, the cuts and departures have increased exponentially each year. Now it's unclear if enough skills remain to keep the fab running. Good luck- that was a significant milestone in the recent demise of f11x.
Did they get a minimum 30 day notice as promised on the ACT site?
Training department is part of HR?
Please don't cancel the training on "How To Write Good Focal " so that I can continue to get good stocks without doing any real work ... and "Effective Meeting " class so that I can occupy 90% of the engineers calendar without them complaining my meetings are ineffective

They were big and bloated anyway. They needed a good weeding out.
Bk announced that in one of his all hands at the time he outlined what the future looked like. So that shouldn't be a surprise to anyone

Yep - trainin in Oregon got cut as well.
