It ain't fair, it's Darwin!!! Kibsgaard does not gaf about your paycheck, in fact the lowed the better. His goal is to make SLB "best run company in the world". Notice that's Best Run, not Best Employer. If you want fairness, go work at some organic grocery co-op run by tree huggers. If you work at SLB, make that money while you can and always have an exit strategy- whether the exit is your choice or SLB's.
If I was a recruiter for SLB and hitting the colleges, I'd tell each one of them to get in Wireline Group. With Wireline it don't matter if you learn anything but, every 8 months you can transfer to another job. And after 22 years, with a new job title climbing ladder you can possibly become CEO of this company...

I believe to show solidarity to the rest of the company he should have taken a cut like everyone else, but given the option i would not be taking a cut either.

Let's see. He has two or more bank accounts assuming, whatever he makes go to Scotland. All his shares follow. So, why would he share anything with you? He is not from this country. He didn't live what you lived, through college, paying college loans, supporting ur family from day one..
a) He went to college for free. b) He was hired in Europe and some how landed in USA as CEO after working of course overseas for 10 yrs maybe? c) He doesn't have no loans to pay for college, house, car..d) Schlumberger pays all his living expenses including his family, house, cars, best private schools in the area paid by Schlumberger. FYI this is for all H1 visa holders, Schlumberger pays for their housing, round trip tickets, more than 2 weeks vacation... e) why would he get paid less than $13 million a year? Don't you see how great his ideas are? Don't you see how great this transformation is? HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT NONE OF YOU. GET THAT STRAIGHT. ASK SUGAR LAND WORKERS. Every shop and field location now has more H1 visa holders than citizens of this country. One H1 visa holder was reported to be laid off in NAM, however her husband is an FSM so they are always in the usa, fyi they are both under H1 visa. Employees are getting promotion based on their sex not knowledge or experience. Most of the Employees left right now are either exceed expectations in suckin D or having strong ties with their supervisors, high school bodies..
The CEO twisted Schlumberger so bad, what do u expect from a small little supervisor in a shop to do and he/she sees how his bosses are running this company based on their desires. Nothing is going to change in this company until you put the right people in the right place.
Right now they are saying that we are just trying to pay the bills... hahaha what a joke, that's how stupid they think you are.
