"No dream leads to no motivation, hence no innovation. Unfair system discourages dream. Too bad for intel." -- Thanks to Progressive policies coming out of Washington DC. Both from the RINO's running the RNC and the batshit crazy liberals running the DNC.

No dream leads to no motivation, hence no innovation. Unfair system discourages dream. Too bad for intel. Chinese dream is more alive now.

In case you haven't noticed, the American dream is dead.

The company had decided at some point after Andy Grove left to just milk the beast into the ground and promote an atmosphere of back stabbing, fraudster politicians to lead the company to where, not at all surprisingly, it finds itself today.

This is nothing but Karma which is a beautiful thing!. What goes around eventually comes around. The OP is right in that there's not much to gain by rejoicing over the justice of it all (at the expense of the innocent bystanders),.... but given just how thoroughly disgusting Intel has become as a place of employment,.... it's hard not to.

I saw things trending very much in this direction when I retired many years ago, and chose to have my SERP Plus deferred comp account balance paid out in 5 annual payment. (the choice was either: lump sum, 5 years or 10 years..... newly retiring Intel employees might want to think twice about choosing even 5 years at this point.

No one wishes Intel ill but the fact is they are doing a good job the past 17 years of destroying themselves with poor decision making. From purchasing 7 Billion dollars worth of companies in the late '90s and reselling all of them for 900 million dollars that included xscale. Over paying for Macfee and Altera, then burning 10 billion dollars for mobile. Nope, nothing I can say is destroying this once proud company, they are doing it on their own.

F--- Intel. F--- BK. There is no reason whatsoever to hope they succeed. I hope they all rot in hell.

BK is the OP you...? I know hope and pray is your real strategy because drones and IoT are an obvious joke to anyone who has any mental capacity. How's the hope and pray working out?

Kind of like the doom and gloom of the PC market?

Sorry pal but sometimes bad news is just bad news.

When there's a train wreck we're not wishing ill on the train wreck.

Poor decisions are not without cost. If this corporation has no concern for its own people it surly has no concern for anyone else either. The ones running that sinking ship will tell you the failure is your fault.
