Sent to Watching IBM: "You can post this anonymously to the group. " Today I received my final checks in the mail from my manager. The checks did not include my Vacation accrual time of 6.5 days from the beginning of the year. I did not use any vacation time. However, my manager decided to take it upon themselves to not fill out the "unused Vacation pay form they are required to fill out in order to get paid for unused vacation time. (which is a federal law by the way). For all of those who did not use their vacation time. IBM is mandated by federal law to pay you for it. I received a response from IBM payroll that my manager was suppose to fill out this form so they would pay for the unused time. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is dealing with this unprofessional nonsense. IBM's way of trying not to pay their employees what they are more than owed. Managers like this are the norm for IBM. You would think Managers would try and take care of their people on the way out the door and do the right thing. However, it doesn't surprise me as most IBM managers are incompetent managers & clueless about the IT industry at best."

Maybe you and everyone else that was screwed out of their vacation pay should file a claim in small claims court against IBM. In many counties you do not need an attorney and can represent yourself.
