Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

It was a mistake to take a job at Intel

I have two months at Intel at Guadalajara Mexico. Sadly I have seen that a lot of things mentioned here are true. Now I am thinking about looking for another job but I am not sure if a two months stay at Intel will look OK for any prospective employer.

GDC is a great site with lots of opportunities, maybe you haven't found your 'fit' yet..

When was Intel a place where everybody wanted to work.

Hard to get good people even in 2002

You must be taking decades ago

Stay where you are at until you find another position.

I think you can start looking for another job now as long as your Intel position is the first short term position you have held. Everyone is entitled to one mistake so other companies will understand if you explain to them why you went to Intel and why it did not meet your expectations.

I would use Intel as a stepping stone job, just do not plan on them being loyal to any employee and you will be ok!

Once upon a time Intel was the place everyone wanted to work. Now Intel is destroying their own employees by claiming they are performance issues without ever informing them they had performance issues...simply to get rid of them. Intel hasn't been honest with its workforce so Intel will pay a price for years to come over this behavior.
