Management sucks, favoritism is rampant and hr is a joke

At tru being buddies with or related to someone in managment is all that matters. Hard work, ethics and eefficiency are considered optional or worse, unwanted. If you poi t out unethical behavior you observe, if you report favoritism, time card doctoring or anything to hr, at best you'll be ignored or at worst they'll find a reason to fire you. An assistant manager was recently fired after years of good service, after reporting repeated ethical issues with the store manager and his right hand man and they filled that position by promoting a friend, who's also married to a manager at a different store, who'd been there less than a year, in spite of several qualified staff members who all had seniority and more knowledge of the business. But they continue to claimthere Iis no favoritism at tru and there's the continued underlying implication that to say otherwise will end badly for the people who complain. If you work them, try to get out and find a company that has ethics and doesn't devalue their employees.
