It's not clear from the package, is it 14 days or 30 days from receipt of package?
Also if u decide to go with the default cobra package( 6 months and $9000) do u still need to call cobra? Or is it by default from jun1st?

Reread the package. Federal law (EEOC) says 45 days due to the number of employees let go.
Only need to send in paperwork by end of May if you want 12 months of COBRA
