Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

My best friend has his own medical practice. On weekends, I take my son over to their house...

I want my son to spend as much time with their son so that my son can learn that it's much better to be a doctor, and hopefully never follow in my footsteps. Considering my friend's house is this gnormous McMansion, that's a good start....

Economics is always a forcing function.

Protected groups don't stay protected above a certain price.

If the costs become too high - people will turn to many different alternatives.

-byq. No way man. The medical profession in america is a fraternity. What will happen, is eventually, we'll have universal care (socialized medicine) in which the taxpayers will be on the hook for paying a lot for medical. Doctors will do just fine.

Doctors and the medical field are the next industries ripe for disruption.

The spiraling cost of health care will be the forcing function that causes change.
