Much like the HBO series where 140 million people vanish from earth (due to heavenly rapture), in the coming weeks the effect of another 4-6k leaving Intel will shock, awe and traumatize "the Leftovers" that had to stay. So begins the drama of opurtinism, sadness, blame games, resentment and revenge.

I think that's already being filmed at IBM.
The loss of 12k if done correctly could have been minimal. They could have identified a few totally useless groups and divisions to cut and not have effected the critical projects by making surgical moves. But that would be too smart can't do that, LOL
BK and his minions decided it was far wiser to impact the whole company including some of the most critical projects. Now the whole company is impacted and morale across the company is so low. Everyone is questioning the leadership and wisdom, such a sad situation for what was once a great and proud company.
