Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

I'm embarrassed and ashamed at the insults hurled towards humans from India, China, etc..

I'm a white American, eligible for VSP and ERP, and I'm ashamed at all the hate thrown at H1B employees. They were offered a job by a big company that paid well, and left behind family, friends and their homeland to improve their life by accepting the offer.

I have worked with many H1B engineers from India and other nations and every one has been hardworking and intelligent, some of them got ISP and others are offered VSP. I'm offered VSP and ERP too, and the criteria for that decision was made by that S.O.B. P.O.S. BK, the ESC and HR. THEY are the ones fcking you and I in the a* without the courtesy of lube or a reach-around, not some engineer from India.

Bashing H1B employees means getting rid of you was a great idea. No person of truly high intellect can be a racist.

H1B's from Indian can care less about any other culture or people, they are first second and third and nothing else matters . I am very sorry OP but NO, these guys are arriving to the US in masses and like Locust devouring the whole technological sector displacing the American workers and even other H1b's from other countries.

I know they are looking for better quality of life but they are part of the problem so if you want to hit your chest as a pro-human then start by defending the Americans that are loosing their jobs to these guys.

I have no issue with the Indians as "humans" were you are trying to make it sounds that they are being treated inhumane. They are here and they know they are displacing the people living here. Further more, they are very racist towards anyone outside their culture and even among themselves if they are from other castes or regions from India so please lest not try to make the Indians victims and the hallmark of poor hopeless sheep because they are not and they are extremely aggressive when it comes to backstabbing and pushing anyone down the cliff so they can advance.

Threatening violence towards people is not protected speech. Our free speech laws will not protect you.

I'm H1B from Nigeria, i know 8 other PHds from my country and from Kenya, SA, and Bots. They can't get visa because of a certain country managed to hoard a majority of them. I swear I'm not a violent man, but if another dothead director tries to push his people into my project, I'm going quit and put a bigger dot on his big head.

No idea is above scrutiny, no people are beneath dignity - Maajid Nawaz

Thou shall not steal also applies to people's dignity & reputation. I'm an atheist who can appreciate good teachings from religion. The majority of what I've seen written about groups of people have been below their dignity & reputation.

@HCqsqfF-byl - I agree that truthful criticism is not hate. However the majority of things written about Indians on this site are hateful, at least from what I've read. I'm no Trump fan but I understand why he has such ardent supporters. They're sick & tired of political correctness. So am I. So are many people who are not Trump supporters. Political correctness is tyranny.

I'm very pro first amendment and I believe even hate speech is protected speech. We should be able to have an ideas market place so all ideas can get scrutinized & let the best ideas win. The answer to speech we don't like is more speech, not jail time, not physical violence.

Yes trolls have every right to spew hateful things about anything they want. America is a free & great country. Those of us who don't agree can also call a spade a spade, in this case, hateful trolls.

Truthful criticism also has a space and people should be able to express their opinions without being called racist and therefore shutting down speech & the debate. This is where political correctness has run amok and needs to change.

Don't get mad at the Indians. They're just trying to make a buck like we are. Get mad at the politicians who were bought off to open the floodgates to all the foreign "talent." Vote out all incumbents!

I applaud to your disgust to real hate trollers, as I do as well, but I think you are over reacting or trying to make up reality that is not, like you might be painting all posts that say anything unfavorable against Indians as hate, which would be equally wrong to those stupid haters and trollers. So, first there were not so many real stupid hate cases as most had some real point to say, maybe unfiltered and could be misinterpreted if reader is biased and not open. Second, if something is true and is not pretty, then better there are no people like you to stand in a way to express that.

By the way, I do not hate as most of us any individual person, but I do distinguish truth and goodness from the opposite. I and many like me here are not kind of the Trump supporters, although there were some here. There were many of us who stated number of fact based typical problems that stand out from that background, like backwardness that is in the past for most of Europe and US, but is present for India like arranged marriages, most corrupt society everywhere, cast system to name the few. They come here to freer world seeing what is on the surface and what they can get, but keeping backwardness they game the system in many ways and some of them are aware of that but it is not easy for them all to change.

After all, the only thing really important is staying a decent person.

In a country where the Elite has been going in the Finance/Law path and less people study Engineering and Science, having the ability to attract talent from abroad is a blessing.

I would bet the racists are just trolls who have nothing to do with Intel. I worked on many many multi-cultural teams at Intel and never sensed that kind of stupidity.

Glad to see that the good voices of this great country are speaking. There a few trolls who are causing too much nuisance.

I think during this tough time the best is to share info on finding new jobs

I think the hate are from trolls who have nothing better to do with their lives. I'm American and neither white or male and I got VSP. It's time to move on but you don't see me whine and stir up race or gender conspiracy theories.

Great post... Not sure why the hate either so much of what makes this country great is the opportunity and welcome and reward we give to talent and hard work.

It is seperate from the whole stupid ACT and to little to late miss directed actions that won't materially fix what is truly wrong with the company
