Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Any ERP, VSP, ISP in HR ?

Any program or project cuts for inefficiency in HR ?

With the dumbest, unwanted, rejected, unproductive people of Intel ending up in HR...

Intel HR also appears to be safest place to be during ACT.

HR function is a drag on the companies, they are just glorified clerks shuffling papers and getting paid for nothing. need to be fired first

There are SSL 5 that HR is safeguarding in their sham job re-deployment programs. Having already exceeded the time that was alloted to the candidates.

....A SSL 5 should not even be chosen for re-deployment....

Is it fair to the many that were laid off for getting low grade stocks, for some of whom it was their first focal.

Do not worry. HR folks will be let go once the 12k limit is reached. Too much supply, not enough demand - fire sale

"I am curious if any TAs got ISP or VSP"

TA is the ultimate political position.

Plenty of TA's in DCG have been promoted into GM and VP roles. Despite, of course, having little or no experience or technical chops for these jobs. Like promoting Diane's TA to lead Federal LLC, despite having no federal experience.

But aren't they just there to tell their bosses what they want to hear (either as TA or GM/VP)? Perfect qualifications!

My useless HR refused to meet me for my post focal concerns, saying she is too busy with ODIs and she has to travel to SC to meet me. It's so difficult to catch these guys and even get an email response from them. I wonder how this company really functions with such work ethics. All the companies I worked in the past HRs were so approachable and helpful.

I am curious if any TAs got ISP or VSP. TA is one of the most useless job categories at Intel. I understand why an MCM may need a TA. What I don't understand is why when a person is promoted to a VP position, he/she is automatically given a TA req. In most cases, TAs are glorified admins. Every VP gets one admin, one TA.. Essentially two admins. It is ironical that VPs are deciding who to cut to reach their corporate efficiency targets based on skills. what skills TAs have: book meetings, take notes, spy for VP - all essential to make Intel great!

I could write a computer program to replace them for most questions. "Ivy" just needs to be upgraded.

I know of 1 person who got ISP'ed in HR (in FM.) I also know of 3 HR ERP's in FM and 1 in SC.

HR is just like any other group in Intel. You have some good people and some useless people.

There are a few heroes in HR trying to do the right things for the people they encounter in the scopes they are working in. If you are impacted by one of these alphabet soup packages I hope you are fortunate enough to work with one of them.
