Lots of layoffs for NYMMIS that no one is talking about. Anyone have the headcount of how many? The people laid off were intelligent and experienced professionals. No one is safe at Xerox if you are making a salary upon which you can live comfortably. If you were brought in for pennies and being worked like a slave, you might have a shot of not being laid off.

I just got the axe today. I'm from one of the Utah facilities, but have worked from home office the past 8 years. I've worked for ACS/Xerox for almost 18 years as a software developer. I had no idea this was coming. I was working on 8 different projects with enough work for the next couple of years. All of the developers I work with reside in India. And my manager is from Inda, though resides in the states. I guess I was in denial.
Nothing annouced internally however word is 30 Sales managers and various random IRIF's happened May 25th. Its a shame nothing is said, or annouced when people are let go. so far there hasn't been any communication internally as to what areas were hit.
