Can someone from HR please let us know how close we are to the 12k mark? I know some VSP/ER invites won't be counted unti June 2nd but there has to be an early tally out there somewhere.

Expensive US / Canada / Israel / EU people watch your back! They're not gonna cut from Penang!!
Told by SLM yesterday they are not stopping at 12K, since hiring is still on-going in "growth" areas. They will definitely try to go for stretch goal on the remaining VSP window and phase 2 coming after that. Some groups could be 20-25% down when the dust settles.
Well an average of 3K worldwide was impacted during May including all VSP that have signed worldwide. Unfortunately still need lots of heads, but they do not share more info, even in HR.
The projected shortfall is under 300 per sources. ERP has been wildly successful.
I was kidding. We need 8372 more heads.
Intel HR
Not even close Bud
I thought it was "death march of the marionettes"?
The VSP needs to be double what it is now, before they can expect people to leave in numbers.
It doesn't really matter what the tally is now. Past experience shows a large percentage wait to the last day to decide.
Do you actually believe anything Intel says these days? It will not stop at 12k, this ship is sinking and by 2020 worldwide employees @ Intel will be ~50k.
That info is IP.
Not close is the rumor...
Is the 6459 heads for 2016 or does it include what they say will be the 2017 numbers?
Crap! Thanks for the update.
