Wonder what will become of the giant new fab that built in AZ, fab 42 I think? I was working in Chandler and remember then halting production, not sure if they began moving tools in or not but they started mothballing the whole operation. Wow, Intel is going to be leaving a lot of empty buildings laying around.

Left that place 3 years ago. It is by far the worst run sh--hole at intel. Very dangerous, total lack of safety. The site was great place to work years ago.

Glad I left that black hole 12 years ago.

The morale is so low you can physical feel it - I've started interviewing, cannot stand it, wish if I can leave tomorrow

still open, running around 2000 wspw. Entire teams decimated by VSP/ISP/ERP, morale low, no path beyond Q1 2018. Non essential groups being moved elsewhere.

In short, we're just arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic while the musicians play on.
