Thread regarding Anadarko Petroleum Corp. layoffs

We are better than this

This is too funny, pick up the pieces and move on.

What we should do is start some form of company ourselves maybe not in oil and gas but hey

Franchises, apartment complexes, stock trading, we have the expertise why not use what we have anyone interested, or have any other ideas.

anadarko sucks, they dont care about the employees nor the other companies the layoff affected such as Eurest ( the company that runs the cafes) alot of us lost our jobs and the general manager (Sue Simion) made sure that we would not be able to collect unemployment by firing some of us last minute or asking for resignation from others!

APC workers were laid off and many of these workers were dedicated until the very end. How many of the remaining employees have taken a few minutes out of their day to lift up the phone, send a farewell note/email or send a card wishing these folks the best of luck with their future? We were a team at one time and we were proud. These folks have feelings and are probably wondering why their fellow coworkers never bothered to say good bye and good luck. Yes, many were compensated financially but remember friendships they thought they had or good working relationships they had, should not be forgotten. What if you as a remaining employee were the one laid off and you never heard from your fellow APC friends/coworkers or management who you respected at one time? It's a lonely place to be ...so take time out of your busy day to wish your former laid off coworker/ employee/friend well. This could have been you! It's never too late to put a smile on someone's face and to show a little heart!

No we are all in the same field across the board oil and gas. I have friends at most of the companies, bottom line it has effected so many of us.

I'm guessing you're not exanadarko or exschlimberger but that you're posting this same idea on different boards to find investors. Did I guess right?

I like your gumption young man! Let's pool the lifelines we got in March into a sagging economy with a bunch of others who are equally distracted by the possibility of losing everything in chapter 7. Hopefully whoever buys your partner's assets will make you a lot of money.
