Non working Managers/Directors

Are there any managers or directors at Intel that actually do their work ???

.... or are capable of doing their work ???

Without their subordinates doing it all for them and then also having the same subordinates training them on how to present / pass completed reports and presentations as their own ?

Their only ability is bull$hitting in meetings and piling work on others without understanding the nature of work.

Why is it that Intel is not taking any action against them ?

A director has been around at Intel since the 80s started working in factories, yet did not get ERP ?

These Directors know nothing about the operation. Instead of removing obstacles for the engineers, motivating them, they burden them with indecision, meetings, demanding never ending updates from the engineers so that they appear smart to their bosses. But sadly, these are the directors who decide who gets the boot? Just because they can articulate politely without offending people does not mean they bring value to the company. Just because I tell as it is, lack subtlety, therefore I get the boot?

My favorite is when ...

my incompetent Indian Director sends me two half incomplete slides that look like a 3rd grader made them

... and asks me to make a 10 page slide for him with what the next year's strategy for the organization should be so that he can go present it to his boss .. the VP.
