BK wasn't CEO until well after these projects were underway, the problems with them date back to Dadi Perlmutter and Rani Borkar (both of which have been shown the door) and aside from sh--canning them the most BK has done is express frustration with them.

The sad thing is that we, as a company, are a lot better positioned for these types of projects now, it just took a very long time to get there.

Broxton started in April 2013 and still it is not ready for shipping. What a great execution! Qualcomm does SoC execution in < 1.5 starts (start from concept to PRQ).

Just another BK utter failure. That's as bad as when he thought Intel can develop a bangles market for skinny models. Lol.

Integration started in Israel and was moved to Oregon midstream which of course made everything go as smoothly as possible.

Multiple sites were involved for Broxton. Hard IPs such as DDR/PCIE/USB/MIPI etc designed by most in-efficient team in Folsom. Graphics IP also delivered by Folsom VPG team. Mac controller soft IP provided by Folsom. CPU core came from Austin and integration was done in either Santa Clara or Oregon (Not sure).
