rather than get an attorney (who are not likely to take your case), file a claim with EEOC: https://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm
The OP posting below is complete utter BS. There is damages and there is age discrimination. Quit looking for local law firms close to Intel. Intel has that door shut.
I can guarantee anyone thinking about suing, it isn't going to result in anything. First off, most people having 15+ years with the company! you will be told how lucky you were to have had a job that long with one company. Then you will be asked to show damages. And you will present this killer severance package that far exceeds anything out there. Again you will be told how lucky you were to have been treated so great by your employer. It's not worth wasting any energy in this space. The only thing you may get out of the deal is a change in wording that you were part of reduction in workforce and you are eligible for rehire. That's it! This company gave you stock, bonuses 4x a year, perks galore, great compensation package, onsite gym, and other services. You were treated like royalty. Accept that and move on. Other highly educated, skilled people could only dream about having had half of what you did
Yes. Get a state job that has a pension that forever screws the private sector tax payers.
