With the way things were functioning (not functioning) before the layoff, things are going to get really ugly really quick around there. I think most of those that got let go are pissed, and rightfully so, but they should think about what it will be like going forward for those that are left behind still working in that hell-hole (even more so now). I think those that got booted are actually getting the better deal long-term, even with all the hassles associated with switching jobs, selling houses, moving, etc.. I really feel terrible for those remaining and wish them the best of luck in not going completely insane while they still remain.

It was a complete hell hole before the layoffs. I couldn't imagine it getting any worse but it just did! This company continues to make STUPID decisions! They should have at least let people have a knowledge pass down before they left. I just got 20+ projects dumped on me with ZERO information. I have to start from scratch. I pray for VSP.

Intel has lost a ton of experience and knowledge; however, this was their own decision. They've left a number of very important projects in the hands of RCGs. We'll see how long this strategy lasts.
