Murthy and BK are experts in firing high quality employees; however, they suck at actually bringing in revenue and growing the business. Then there is that other creep named Sohail whose role is to only approve factory white papers. Seems a bit under qualified for an executive VP! His performance plan should be to bring in billions of dollars of revenue to the company, not to worry about some piss asspeon white paper. It's ridiculous to have promoted this guy to an exeçtive level.

You're just a WWID, another number. Expect more layoffs. Nothing they tell you is a sure thing. I wouldn't trust a word of the managers, the plant or site managers. I wouldn't even believe BK and "his" group. This was a blindsided move on their part. Nothing is ever a sure bet. Outside Intel versus Intel Inside, is much better. Take your skills, start writing your resumes from projects you've worked on. AND DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT. COVER YOUR A$$. The next set of criterias will be something they pull out of their A$$E$.

I was just told by my manager that this will be followed by a huge wave of layoffs based on group targets. Nobody is safe and it will be at the discretion of the manager on who he wants to keep. He told me that his group consists of all high performers and so everyone should start looking. This is when our group has been called out as a growth area. So in a nutshell, this will continue for the next few months.
