I don't see how all these sales groups continue to keep the monthly golf memberships & monthly vehicle allowances with one of the lowest rig counts in US history. If they want to save money, you would think these smart hand picked engineer managers would focus on these areas to help save good people being let go..

I'm still amazed of all the personnel that still got a job in the Tools/Bits division and in Logistics segments. How can there be any work out there with one of the lowest Rig counts in 40 years?

Yes this is one of the gauges we, managers, uses to determine who and how many to be chopped when HR sends their nightly email. Back in Jan/Feb 2016, each Mgr with a significant group to manage was required to put a list of names together. They just work down it. If you recognize us, Mgmt, to start avoiding you week or 3, then you name is next. We just have no idea when.
