I was laid off from Intel prior to all this but after being off for a bit I have to say I don't miss it a bit. People outside of Intel actually speak english. I don't have to look up what they just said in an acronym dictionary. No BHAGS, BUMS, etc in the real world folks. You can speak normal full words and it really doesn't take that long. When I read emails today I actually understand them the first time. The shock will pass, you'll get a new role elsewhere and if you practice your use of full words you'll fit in just fine.

Intel, move on. NO ONE else calls them foils. No one. It's stupid!
Yes, and for the love of God, please do NOT use those ANY of those stupid Intel acronyms on your resume or an interview. The real world outside has no clue what ANY of them mean. If you want a recruiter or hiring manager to even read past the first paragraph, ditch the intel-isms. Trust me, I put those resumes in the bottom of the pile.
Also, learn what some of those stupid words mean, like "Focal" which means "Review" and similar intel only terms.
I've started speaking to my family about closing on any opens and if they have BKMs and they're all "Whaaaaat????"
