Finally got my 1:1 meeting schedule at 2 pm today. Been waiting for it.

As far as the official policy goes, sabbatical is only paid out in California. A few people I know that have gotten ISP (outside of CA) will NOT be paid for unused sabbatical.
Are half sabbaticals paid after you get a ISP?

I got t he ISP lat year and sabbatical and vac's were all paid. I'm in CA

I am in CA so as I known Intel needs to pay for any unused vacation including sabbatical.

The package says they DO pay for unused sabbatical, but when I got my $total back from HR, it was missing. I send an email back, but haven't heard back yet.
And one tip: do whatever you can to communicate and get the stuff in writing via the Intel email (cc your personal email) BEFORE you are shown the door (the layoff packet wasn't even correct, the HR mgr gave 2 amendment pages, but there were still errors that I needed to correct later). It has been a very slow process to use the generic email address they give - they are swamped.

All the best... Chin up and move forward. We did some amazing things over last 15 years and it's time to move on. I have no doubts that every single engineer we have will continue to do great things once she/he leaves.

My boss was cool. He came to talk to me right after I accepted the meeting.
Been here for 15+ years, it is time for a change. Luckily I have unused sabbatical so that gives me 2 more months pay to support my unemployment period.

You'll be much happier once you depart. The HR meeting was conducted well and they answered most questions. Just hold your head up that you are not a poor performer. You can blame poor leadership in your area by not knowing how to use your talent or simply not caring.
How did you receive the notice? Email? How far in advance?
