The next step is to find an investigator.. hr will help you to find that investigator who will be a current intel employee.. he will investigate ur case based on the witnesses you provided in the odi form

be aware that ODI will set the legal investigator to understand the situation but does not mean he/she will save your ass They work for Intel and not for you which means they will try to settle the situation but trying to cover Intel and avoiding a situation that you can sue.

My recommendation... save ALL emails and read this thread: https://www.thelayoff.com/t/H7gTqeF

You can file a complaint with the EEOC and claim retaliation for filing your original ODI, if there is documentation that it was in process before the layoff announcement, and then you were termed you may have a case and EEOC will go after Intel on your behalf: https://www.eeoc.gov/employees/charge.cfm

Don't water your time. I appealed last year and declined.

We have lost our country to them. We need to take it back.

In the letter you get with your ISP, there is an email address to request the appeals form (you have to fill it out and send it back before your 1 week deadline). It also states that the appeals committee is comprised of top managers who have 3 options: deny appeal, reverse ISP, or in the case of open ODIs to refer the matter to HR. I'm not sure if that last option I listed (which is actually option #2 on the letter) means that they committee automatically refers it to HR, or if they assess your case, then decide. Good luck!

Not sure what ODI is but I had an active contestation of my review at the time of the layoff that was initiated before the layoff was announced and unresolved when let go. The basis of the layoff was the review and the review was littered with false statements that could be proven with hard data. This was known to my manager, her manager, and HR and yet it intentionally wasn't resolved to let the layoff go forward anyway so they could get their numbers. It's criminal behavior.
