Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What happens to sabbaticals?

I'm sabbatical-eligible. I would presume that ERP gets to take it before "retiring", and I know of at least two people in CS that took immediate sabbaticals then formally left.

not sure about ISP. Do people with ISP get to take their unused sabbatical before officially leaving (can it be tacked on to the 5/31 end date)? Or do they just lost it?

ISP are paid for sabbatical if they are already qualified for it. They will ask you if you are qualified for sabbatical in the delivery meeting.

no, ERP doesn't get to take it. You should read the material they provided you. It's there.

ISP lose sabbatical as it is a benefit and not an entitlement, only VSP/ERP get paid out for sabbatical if eligible
