I am sad to hear and see people are going through difficult time. There are people like me not eligible for VSP, ISP or enhancement retirement package per criteria. In a few months this year, I will meet my 75 rules. I am wondering if Intel would offer VSP package or early retirement package (within 1 year of window or whatever window) for those people really want to leave Intel and move on. If Intel offers this, we can be closer to meet the goal 1.2K even exceed the goal. Isn't Intel goal oriented company specially on the exceeding the goal?

You are in an inescapable endless loop, dude! Take matter into your own hands and don't let Intel deal the cards. You may not like the hand dealt.
Once, VSP was available for everybody. However, the good was took it, and the bad ones didn't -- duh!. Thus, now there is a criteria to qualify for VSP.
Don't worry, you'll have your chance in another 6-12 months to choose a package because this is just the beginning of mass headcount reduction.
It is not about what you want but Intel. But it is very easy to solve your problem - just ask for less stock shares (SSL 4 or 5) in exchange for more cash increase when it comes to Focal. Things in Intel has become a little twisted and you can not play straight any more.
Sounds lime an outsider fishing for information versus someone who really meets the criteria spoken of. You are a hack.
if they know you already have plans to retire soon, they will not give you the package because they already know you're leaving anyway :( I would recommend anyone meeting retirement eligibility soon, don't talk about your plans or if you will retire, let Intel think you are staying....that way they will believe they need to "encourage" you to leave. best of luck to you
