Expecting to have ISP but so far no news yet so just wondering if they schedule 1:1 with you right before that or one day in advance?

1 day before mgr knows ... Can schedule then or let you come in the next day and you will see it giving you a min 2hrs ... Keep low profile esp with team mates they likely know u are goin as he put it they have been advised to respect your privacy and dignity.
simply have out of office message with a person named as your coverage. Let them attend the 1:1 for you.
What happens if we're on vacation this week?
You should get notified the night before after 9 PM in your time zone. Check your mgrs calendar to see if there is a "private appt" scheduled. If so, the noose hangs high.

if your 1:1 is in the am, manager will let you know the evening before, if its in the afternoon, manager will let you know morning of...
Day before is generally the case, but it's not a rule.
