can we sue intel if it let citizen go and keep H1 ?
I think this is illegal, since both of the American Eng. and H1 Eng have the same tech. skills
since they are in the same group,
H1 is only for if the company can't find American engineers with the same skills.
These h1B discussions are highly suspect. Some of you don't work for Intel and it's obvious.
All of you may want to join as group and find good lawyer/law firm ( who had been previously successful in similar suits) . Also call EEOC and file a complaint. You have year from date of your termination to file complaint with EEOC. Also write to you congressman/woman and senators that they must stop increasing H1B quota. These tech companies are in collusion to get increase the H1B quota so they can fire locals and keep salary depressed by hiring foreigners

American Engineers are great but they are outnumbered by H1s by more than %95 in the tech.
It is impossible to compete in a biased work environment when you're not part of the pack.

yes, this is really suspicious. why is intel letting go our own ppl, while keeping a lot of h1s? i thought in the first place we hire a bunch of h1s to help the company and to support us because they are cheap, hardworking
