The Silvermomt architecture and derivates were a flop, with a very bad memory model and abysmal GPU performance. It's no wander that Apple, Samsung and Qualcomm are kicking Intel's assin the market.
Keep in mind everyone posting is not an Intel employee or shareholder, some of them are from Quitcom, AnotherMistakeDeveloped, etc. None of them are of right mind, don't let them fool you.
Do not talk about internal projects on a rumor/gossip website. Intel engineers are getting laid off, not the legal team at Intel. Do not invite more trouble to yourself than you are already in. You will get your asskicked if you continue posting confidential information here.
After spreadtrum took our money they refused to make soc with x86. They later asked for details on intel process - you couldn't make it up.
The Chinese chip designers are eating Intel's lunch at the mobile game. The ownage is just.... pathetic really.

Cherry Trail is available since March 15. It has received lukewarm reports at best. What's the secret here?

You people should not talk about this type of stuff even anonymously. Irregardless of the fact Intel is a machine that does not care about you at the end of the day, it gave you a decent living. Competitors can see this type of stuff and use it to harm business and further manipulate the stock price. Even though I am unhappy with the way things are being handled, as a shareholder I still want Intel to succeed. Complain about their treatment of you, venting Is fair, but please shut up about private matters. Take care.
@pog This means Intel is completely out of mobile business. Or better said will not go into mobile business, because Intel has never really been in?
Cherry Trail is already out and not doing too well. It's succesor will probably never materialize.
