It is why I'm working from home. I already have a lot of anxiety anyway. Being at the office would plainly freak me out. I might fare okay this week, but then there are projects getting cut at the end of June. I'm applying for jobs and getting my work portfolio in order - which also doubles as getting work done, just a lot sooner than I had planned and for different reasons. Anxiety medication is helping me keep some focus on my work.
Yes, this is a natural human reaction to the fear of the unknown. Generally speaking if you received a ssl4 or ssl5 on your last focal, this is an automatic ISP with no hope of rehire. Even if you get VSP this focal and Intel does not get the quota this year to get to 12K, the system will be rigged to ensure you get ISP next focal. At this point forget the silly ergonomic injuries, this is now a serious mental health issue. You may want to take plenty of mental health days to keep your sanity.

I am not going to work my assas before, what is the point if I will be layoff this or next year.
I will enjoy the ride by doing the least amount of work, at the end of the day it will not make a difference.

This is so bogus. Work never stops. Yes, people are sad to see their colleagues leave. But everyone's a professional. No place (and time) for melodrama.
My word for what is' like is a twilight zone. It's quite surreal. For example, the gym, which normally has about 30 people in the morning; I and three others were the only ones there. It was eerily quiet. No one was doing any aerobic dancing. Just three die hards doing weight and myself doing 200 jumping jacks just to keep my mind off the surrealism.
Of course, the workforce is human not horse. Your machine has become too large and too out of touch with its own people and as a corporation it has more rights than every single one of you (read about corporate personhood).
