Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Here's an example we'll probably never see at Intel

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/05/01/sony-ceo-bonus_n_3194446.html

"Approximately 40 Sony senior executives are voluntarily taking a pay cut as the company’s profits continue to suffer.

Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai is just one of many top company executives forgoing an annual bonus for the 2012 fiscal year, according to company spokesperson Elizabeth Boukis."

What you see above is real leadership. Contrast that with how things went at Intel - BK got himself into the top half of CEO pay per his statement in the bum from under25%. His raise was more than 11% and I think his stock share increase was more than 50%.

why not Krayzian and his ki^SS -A*SSes take a cut in their fat pay for their miserable performance. Intel employees should blog in their Circuit page and challenge this company's management

NEWS FLASH..

EB is driven by short term performance which can easily be improved by firing 12,000 people. Long term performance will suffer, but heck when you get your $5M this year, who cares about 2017.

Won't see it at most places, sadly. But intel is going through a product restructuring therefore its kinda different. Why do you need certain employees if you are not planning to make the product?

Indeed, massive layoff shows poor management and poor execution. 12k engineers and line managers are sacrificed for poor execution. However, executive managers get more bonus. WTF
