Eligible for VSP?

I have got successful and SSL3 during the last three focals. But did not get VSP which I wanted to. No ISP so far as well. Are they trying to rope me in for a bad review and SSL for next focal to make it an ISP case? Should I ask HR why I was not given VSP even though I satisfy Oregonlive criteria? I do not know what is going on in their minds!

If you want a VSP it means you want to leave Intel.

So leave. Maybe that would mean less of us get the axe.

Time in grade matters for VSP

Oregonlive is not Intel and they don't work at Intel they just get loose lips and gossip to make a story. VSP has several criteria. No better than successful for four years, no SSL 1 or 2 in four years, or you are more than 1 standard deviation away from the average median for time in grade, something like that. Basically if you are only successful and have been in time in grade a while you would have been invited to take VSP.

OP here: do not know when will that turn come? I seriously wanted a VSP and get out in a better way. I have already seen more project assignments coming in today from my manager. I am little skeptical of the timing and the sheer amount of projects - looks like setting me up for failure!!

They are busy with others. You are going to have to wait for your turn :)

Why do you assume OregonLive is accurate?
